Kailee
aka "Twister"

Meet Kailee. Kailee is currently a senior at DePaul University studying Broadcast Journalism and plans to someday become a broadcast Meteorologist. She is currently interning at Chicago's Fox News in the Weather Center for Amy Freeze and also at Chicago's 1035 Kiss Fm as an on-air personality intern for Special K radio. 

Even though she lives, works, and goes to school in the city, she is deathly afraid of public transportation (basically anything that saids "CTA"). Kailee is confident, outgoing, hardworking, and has a witty personality.

When she wants something she will do whatever it takes to get it and wont stop until she gets there. Plus she loves being right even when shes wrong. 

When Kailee has free time and isn't laughing at her own jokes.. She is secretly a movie junkie, car freak, and obsessed with shoes.

 If you are looking for Kailee and cant find her at the nail salon getting her nails done or hitting the slops on her snowboard in Park City, Utah than try your local hole in the wall pub. She will most likely be there laughing and chatting with random strangers while trying some new concausion the bartender just mixed together for her.  

Kailee has a love for dogs,which makes it hard for her to leave her Golden Retriever, Charlie, at home alone.

Kailee is a jack of all trates. She is a strong believer in being yourself and not being afraid of being different. That you miss every shot you don’t take. And.. make sure you smile its contagious.

Kailee can be a rebel at times but at the end of the day you will see she really has a big heart and loud laugh. The end.


What would I find in your refrigerator right now?

Peanut Butter x3, pre-sliced apple packets, grapes, pizza, mikes hard lemonade, string cheese, go-gurts, My favorite wine: Pacific Rim and Malbec, water bottles, carton of eggs, chocolate ice cream----I get to do all the grocery shopping. I LOVE COSTCO!

What place in the Chi have you been wanting to visit that you haven't gotten around to yet?
Everything while riding one of those Chicago Segway Scooters!!!

If you could appear on any TV show, which one would it be and why?

E! News as one of the news anchors because I think it would be fun to dress in the trendiest dresses like Giuliana Rancic does and talk about celebrity gossip while giving your own personal twist on the show.

How I got my nickname?

Its simple... Mix the love for weather and my all over the place, out of control, & crazzzy personality and... you get TWISTER!
