Baby Eli Edward Gee was born to loving parents Terrie Stein and Rob Gee on March 15, 2011. As both of his parents will tell you, Eli was the perfect baby whose life was filled with love and happiness. Ten weeks later, Eli was in an accident which resulted in a brain hemorrhage and a loss of oxygen to his brain. He spent four days in the
intensive care unit at Rockford Memorial Hospital where the doctors conducted emergency brain surgery to try to alleviate the bleeding and swelling on Eli’s brain. Just three short days later, on May 26th, Terrie and Rob had to make the extremely difficult decision to take their baby boy off of life support and let God welcome him into his arms.
Family and friends joined together to organize this benefit celebrating the memory of Baby Eli’s life and as a way to assist with the medical costs Terrie and Rob have incurred.
