What’s Your Number?

Is 15-seconds long enough to decide if you want to give someone your phone number or not? Shardae believes so.

 On his way into the studio, Eddie turned on his charm and held out his umbrella for a young lady during the rain last night. Too bad he was only a few blocks into the studio before he had to let her continue without any shelter from the rain. He said that if he had only had more time to walk with her, he would have had the chance to get her digits. 

Isn’t being a complete gentleman for 60 seconds or less, enough time to establish if you want to give out your number or not? Shardae felt that although Eddie is charming and he might have given the young lady a smile, she would have given him her phone number if she had wanted to do so. Brett felt like that wasn’t enough time to decide because you’re only going off looks. 

But it’s only a number, it’s not going into the relationship phase yet and besides, giving out a phone number is only the beginning and that usually leads into if you want to continue conversing with the person.  Most of the time, girls already know if they’re going to give out their numbers and it doesn’t guarantee anything, because it sometimes means nothing. But thanks to guys like Eddie for knowing how to be a gentleman in a situation like this because giving out her number was probably the last thing on her mind after getting stuck in the rain.  If only he had walked her all the way to her destination…
